The 6th "5.27 TOONFUN Day" Commemorative Conference of TONFUN was grandly held on Tuesday afternoon. Centered on the theme "Innovation means surpassing your present self," the conference reviewed the years of growth, paid tribute to the original aspiration of craftsmen, honored benchmark role models, clarified innovation directions, and decoded strategic planning. All members jointly recalled the journey of struggle and prepared to embark on a new journey together. 

01 Honoring Dedication | First-Ever Lifetime Achievement Award Presented, Honoring 36 Years of Dedication and Craftsmanship

In accordance with the conference agenda, Comrade Cheng Dewei of the Delivery Center was presented with TONFUN’s  first “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the event, in recognition of his 36 years of dedicated service, his unwavering commitment to the company’s shared success, his innovative spirit, and his loyalty and sense of responsibility.

Greatness stems from ordinary beginnings, and perseverance creates the extraordinary. In 1990,  Cheng Dewei joined TONFUN, starting from grassroots positions without fearing triviality or hardship. He has always fulfilled his duties diligently, practiced earnest work, actively explored enterprise management innovation, introduced advanced industry production processes, led R&D efforts in corrosion-resistant pumps, won multiple national invention patents, and continuously optimized product performance. Over the years, he has led his team with persistent, refined dedication and iterative innovation, laying a solid foundation for the company's transformation, upgrading, and steady development over more than three decades.

Thirty-six years of perseverance through trials represent both a path of personal growth and a vivid microcosm of the company's iterative development. Cheng Dewei has personally witnessed and participated in the enterprise's journey from a small workshop, breaking through development bottlenecks and completing iterative upgrades to achieve steady progress of "a small step every five years, a major leap every decade." The smooth completion and commissioning of the new plant in 2025 marks TONFUN's magnificent transformation from nothing to something, from small to large, and from weak to strong. 

Cheng Dewei's exemplary deeds represent a vivid practice of TONFUN's vision of "Brands toward beauty, enterprises toward goodness, technology toward roots," and a concentrated manifestation of the corporate spirit of "Dedicated focus, craftsmanship in manufacturing, and pursuit of excellence." At the conference, Chairman Huang Feng led all colleagues to trace the founding aspiration of "5.27 TONFUN Day." The establishment of TONFUN Day originated from stories of hard struggle and united efforts in business operations. "5.27" carries the beautiful homo-phonic meaning of "I love my wife" and "I love my enterprise." "I love my wife" represents the starting point of individual self-cultivation, family management, and the pursuit of a happy family and successful career. "I love my enterprise" implies the dialectical relationship of mutual promotion and mutual empowerment between the enterprise as a big family and the individual as a small family. It is a complete expression of the corporate values of co-creation, co-sharing, and co-building the future for employees' welfare and team happiness.
