The project adopts a feasible technical scheme for high and low position layout of double-axis steam turbine, which can reduce the length of high and high pressure pipeline and reduce investment, reduce pressure drop and cooling loss and thus reduce energy consumption. The proposal of secondary reheat technology for high and low position biaxial layout has solved many problems such as the high temperature steam pipeline cost is expensive and the traditional secondary reheat pipeline is too long in the development of advanced ultra-supercritical technology.

Feng weizhong, the designer of the second phase of pingshan power plant in huaibei, introduced that the new coal-fired unit is a 1.35 megawatt high and low level secondary reheat ultra-supercritical unit. The core of the new unit is the technology of "high and low level divided shaft arrangement steam turbine generator set" proposed by him, which is the first of its kind in the world. The designed power supply coal consumption of the unit is 251 g/KWH. The coal consumption of the unit decreases by more than 15 g, which will set a new low in the world compared with 266.18 g/KWH of the most advanced secondary reheat megawatt unit in China,. The carbon dioxide emission concentration meets the stringent limit set by the us energy administration.
