The Philippines PCPC135MW circulating fluidized bed coal-fired power plant project was put into commercial operation on August 16 this year. Located in the Philippine province of Iloilo, the project is one of the largest in the region, providing electricity to customers on several nearby islands, including Banay and Negros.

He said that the PCPC power plant, with a total investment of about $280 million, is one of the largest projects in Iloilo province. The PCPC power plant has high operating efficiency, good economic benefits and low pollutant emissions, which not only helps promote local economic development in Kompson, but also helps promote industrial development and enhance national strength of the Philippines. When talking about development, he stressed that the development of the Philippines needs coal-fired power plants to attract more investors and create more jobs for more than 100 million Filipinos.
